Frequently asked questions

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on my photography session?

A: If it's bad weather on the day of your shoot I will rearrange at no extra cost.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes absolutely, I am insured for public liability up to £1,000,000 and professional indemnity up to £100,000.

Q: How long does a photography session take?

A: I don't have any time constraints for my sessions so there is no need to worry, I am yours for as long as you need me.

Q: How long does it take to see our wedding images?

A: During busy times it can take up to 8 weeks but most people receive them way before then.

Q: Can friends and family view and buy our wedding images?

A: Yes of course, you will have an online password protected gallery where you, friends and family can view, download and purchase prints and canvases.

Q: I have a fear of it raining on my wedding day, what happens then?

A: Hopefully you will still turn up and we will still have fun. I can still shoot in the rain, and actually one of my favourite images was shot during a rainy wedding.

Q: I hate having my picture taken, can you help me?

A: I have met very few people who actually love having their photograph taken, until the wedding reception, by which time they have had a few drinks. So yes I can help you, just get drunk; No seriously you don't have to do that. I promise I will make it fun and you will actually enjoy the experience. However, don't take my word for it check out what other people have said about me, this will help put your mind at rest.

Q: What happens if the digital images become corrupt or damaged?

A: I am really pleased you asked this question because I am very proud of my system. I have two professional camera bodies and several professional lenses, both cameras have dual card slots so for every image I take I instantly have a backup for you. When I get home I copy your images to my hard drive, and then I back that all up on my master hard drive. At this point I have four copies of every image so the chances of all failing are very very slim.

Q: What if you are ill on my wedding day?

A: That's a great question and luckily the answer is relatively simple, I have an arrangement with a few other photographers and where possible we will step in and help each other out. If they are more expensive than me I will pay the difference. I have never had to use this arrangement yet but it's nice to know its there.
